Details

Gold River wines are more than just a drink - they're a handcrafted expression of Central Otago's unique terroir and the passion of a family-owned winery. The Gibbston Valley Gold River Pinot Noir 2021 is a prime example of this commitment to quality and sustainability.

The Gibbston Valley winery has been in operation since 1981, when founder Alan Brady planted the first vines in the region. Today, the winery is still family-owned and operated, with a focus on traditional winemaking techniques and sustainable practices. The Gold River Pinot Noir is a testament to this heritage, with each bottle representing the culmination of years of experience and dedication.

The wine itself is handpicked and small batch fermented, ensuring that only the best grapes make it into the final product. It's then aged in French oak barrels, adding complexity and depth to the flavor profile. The result is a wine that's both approachable and complex, with notes of dark cherry, blackberry, and spice.

When it comes to food pairings, the Gold River Pinot Noir is a versatile choice. It pairs well with everything from roasted meats to grilled vegetables, making it a great choice for dinner parties or casual gatherings. And with its affordable price point, it's a wine that's accessible to everyone.

Highlights:
- Handpicked grapes and small batch fermentation ensure exceptional quality
- Aged in French oak barrels for added complexity and depth
- Versatile food pairing options make it a great choice for any occasion
- Family-owned winery with a commitment to sustainability and traditional winemaking techniques
