VEUVE DU VERNAY SPARKLING WINE OPTIONS
Marking French Sparkling Wines More Approachable
The vast world of sparkling wine is an exciting and colourful one, but getting into it is nothing short of overwhelming with the multiple nuances it involves like keeping a note of what flavor goes best with respect to the season, and what kind of glass you’ll be drinking out of. However, the secret to appreciating a glass of sparkling wine lies in understanding how these complex processes work in order to make for an equally complex drink. And that starts with knowing how they are made.
Top-Quality French Sparkling Wine
Veuve du Vernay wines and wineries have top-notch quality as they are carefully made respecting French tradition as winemakers. Most Veuve du Vernay wines are produced using the Charmat method which traps bubbles in wine via carbonation in large steel tanks. This method of wine production is famous for producing Prosecco wines. Only the Chardonnay variety is produced using the traditional method of making wine where it is aged in a bottle for nine months on its lees before disgorgement. This is what makes the Chardonnay particularly special.
Careful Attention to Ingredients
Their white grape yield was grown from the most exquisite and picturesque vineyards located in the Southwest of France, where their base wines are also carefully chosen and assembled. When it comes to the taste the richness, sweetness, and bubbles depend on which grape is used, much like a quality pinot noir of the champagne region. It all comes back to the vines.
After incorporating their own liqueur de tirage, which triggers the second fermentation, pouring, and foaming process, the wines gradually develop their aromas and fine, light bubbles over the next several months. Though it all starts with the grape, the process is exhaustive at all levels to ensure the highest quality and a sweeter, more bubbly blend.
High Standards to Meet
The company also ensures the impeccable quality of its wines through its quality management and assurance policy which is internationally certified to meet the most demanding criteria for procedure, techniques, and products when it comes to winemaking.
The Flavour is the Objective
The wine guarantees a refined and consistent flavour with every sip. Careful monitoring of its fermentation process by its professional cellar masters ensures a fresh and delicate tasting sparkling wine. The wine production process for Veuve du Vernay is one of the most refined in the business.
Veuve du Vernay Sparkling Wine Awards

It was awarded 87 out of 100 points and 4 stars in the Sam Kim, Wine Orbit and Joelle Thomson in December 2015. This average rating value puts it in the top tier of sparkling wines.
BRUT SPARKLING WINES BY VEUVE DU VERNAY
All Veuve du Vernay wines is not vintage-dated. The Brut is an exemption that is typically created from wines of a single vintage, similar to that of the Champagne house region. This means that all the other sparkling wine varieties allow the inclusion of other vintages for balance and consistency.

Those without a developed palate or nose can enjoy it.
Veuve du Vernay Brut sparkling wine, in particular, is a pleasant, sweet, easy-to-drink, dry great sparkling wine, but it is not understated, suggesting the characteristics of the fine fruit harvest from which it is made.
A New Twist on Sparkling Wine
It embraces tradition and modernity, making it a great value. It’s lively on the nose, with bouquets of good dry crunchy fruit with characters of supple spice, apples and subdued cinnamon, peachy elements, and sweet-smelling clover punch. Straight onto the palate with crisp apple and nectarine flavours, heightened profiles of rich cashew and toasty, yeasty brioche, simple almond characters with mint, confectioned citrus complexities, and vanilla.
Refreshing Taste
This sparkling wine is easy on the palette with its taste and scent that feels so familiar. The juiciness of a lemon peel, and a hint of floral and almond to top it off.
